I've been vegan for about 3 months and within those three months I've lost about 10 lbs! And it's not good, because it's not fat, it's muscle mass! I'm on a pysch. med and two vitamins that make me have a decreased apetite. I hardly ever eat, because of that. At lunch I will eat not even a half of a sandwich and feel full! I'm starting to look sickly. Help!!!

You really need to eat more. Your body needs nourishment. Besides eating more, make sure you are lifting weights as that will help you keep body weight on.

Wow, bottom line is you need to take in enough calories to maintain your body weight (or even gain a little).
Try to eat nutrient rich/calorie dense foods- nuts, nut butters, avacados, things made with coconut oil, etc.

You are going to have to stretch out your stomach too!
Maybe try to eat 5 or 6 smaller meals throughout the day if too much hurts.

you might want to talk to your doctor about the side effect of your medication, because it may need to be switched. those effects shouldn't last so long!

Sorry I haven't responded in a couple of days. I'm finally almost over being sick and I started exercising, well gardening more, so my appetite is back. My mom said that I didn't have an appetite, because I didn't have any metabolism and wasn't getting enough exercise! Thanks for the advice everyone!!!
