Method cleaning products are great! If you're looking for an alternative to chemical-smelling products with undecipherable ingredients, look no further!
They are 100% natural, biodegradable, NOT tested on animals (nor are any of the raw ingredients) and the containers are made from the most environmental friendly type of plastic (see the website for more info.)
Not to mention they work great, smell great, and look great (as great as a bottle of cleaning product can look.)
Their products include several different cleansers (all-purpose, floor, wood, kitchen, etc.) laundry products (detergent, fabric softener) even air freshners and candles.
I'm not sure if they're available outside the US, but here I know they sell them at Target and Linens n'Things. I just re-read this and it sounds like a paid advertisement for them, really, it's not! I just really love their stuff!

I use the dish soap and scent free laundry detergent. I wish they made a scent free fabric softener liquid.

Just be careful of which ones you buy. The fabric softener sheets and the creamy body washes have animal products in them (the liquid fabric softener is vegan, though).

I love Method! We use their dish soap, hand soap, and all the household cleaner type stuff. It's super affordable too.

Oooh, thanks for the heads up! I knew about the dryer sheets, but didn't know about the body wash, which I was heading to Target to pick up in 15 min or so. Whew! :)

from their website:
Animal Ingredients
Do any of method's products contain animal ingredients and/or by-products?
All of method's products are animal-free (including our liquid fabric softener, which contains canola oil instead of tallow) with the exception of the dryer sheets, which do in fact contain tallow.
So it looks like their body wash is safe. :vebo:

I've found them to be to expensive in my neck of the woods.

I'm in love with their 'pink grapefruit' dish soap! It smells good enough to eat!
The closest target to me is about an hour away so last time I went I stocked up on dish soap and a couple large bottles of their 'free and clear' laundry detergent (although I haven't broke into it yet)
Also their 'pink grapefruit' all-purpose cleaner spray works great!

I love the idea of Method cleaning products. It is great that a major retailer (Target) carries such enviromental and animal friendly cleaning products.
But I have never been thrilled with the laundry products - they smell odd to me and don't have any softness. I just found the Ecos brand (bought a Whole Foods) and I am loving it.

I like their handsoap and laundry detergent. But I hated the dishwasher "balls". My dishes NEVER got clean with those.

Mine, either. It always left a film on them.

Actually, their body washes are newer and they have yet to update their FAQ's section. I emailed them a few months ago about this and they said they were still working on updating it.
Their dryer sheets will be vegan around the fall, though. They are working on making a different formula without the tallow.
So, please, everyone, send them an email thanking them for the soon to be vegan dryer sheets, but at the same time, tell them that they need to update their FAQ's section NOW! The body washes have been out for quite a while now, so they've had more than enough time for updates.

Geez, all this time I thought it was my dishwasher that was useless! That makes me sad to hear that it's probably the dishwasher detergent balls. I use lots of Method products in the laundry room and kitchen, but guess I will have to replace those.
BTW, thanks to all for the heads-up about the Method dryer sheets not being vegetarian. Had no idea! Especially since the box says "Never tested on animals."
