If you don't know, Lent starts tomorrow (Mardi Gras). I am Christian, so I celebrate it, but have no idea about what to give up. I'm not allowed to give up food, so any ideas?

one idea that i came up with a couple years back that really helped me:
instead of giving something up for lent, I added a good habit (ie: praying everyday, reading the bible, being kinder in general, more forgiving, master anger, etc) then, after 40 days of this new attitude or practice, it becomes habit and continues past lent and into the rest of the year. that's just my take, I know some christians and very into the whole giving stuff up for lent, and if you're one of them, kudos to you and i hope you come up with something! :) (idea! if you have a bad habit (like chewing your nails, interrupting, doodling during class, etc) you could give that up...just trying to think abstractly because giving favorite junk food is always popular)
