couple of quick vegan beauty product tips:

jane iredale (http://www.janeiredale.com/). very responsive company. their purelash mascara (http://www.janeiredale.com/products/eyeshadows.html) is vegan. though it includes glyceryl stearate, it is derived from vegetable glycerin.

bliss (http://www.blissworld.com/) branded products. again, very responsive, but unfortunately, none of their products are vegan nor organic.

laura mercier (http://www.lauramercier.com/). triple threat in terms of good customer service response here. most products are not vegan and contain a variety of ingredients like beeswax and lanolin, but their oil-free foundation (http://www.lauramercier.com/products/flawless_face/products/foundation/oil_free_foundation/) is vegan.

arbonne (http://www.arbonne.com/). every product is vegan. yay! i've been extremely pleased with their skin care line. (thanks sallyk (http://www.veggieboards.com/boards/member.php?u=1544)!)

prescriptives (http://www.prescriptives.com/). their magic liquid powder (http://www.prescriptives.com/templates/products/sp_nonshaded.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY2279&PRODUCT_ID=PROD1004) and browshaping pencil (http://www.prescriptives.com/templates/products/sp_shaded.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY3284&PRODUCT_ID=PROD999) are vegan.

tarte (http://www.tartecosmetics.com/). cannot get a response from this company for the life of me (three attempts). anyone know anything?

:o How kind of you to mention me :o

I love our vegan certification, and it's showing up on all the new products' packaging. Just a reminder, the makeup brushes are *not* vegan, sadly.

Well, knowing that Bliss dont have vegan products.. i have tried their product and do use Sleeping Peel which seems to work nicely having it been 1.5 weeks now.

Arbonne is great too as well! And yeah, Sally is a best sales rep... and too busy for me. :P

I didnt know prescriptive has a vegan magic liquid powder.. im looking for a new makeup.
