Looking for Veg-Friendly Pediatrician in Los Angeles

Hi there,

I'm expecting a child very soon and my wife and I are looking for a veg-friendly pediatrician in the San Fernando/Conejo Valley area.

Can anyone suggest someone?

We've already looked into the two most popular (Paul Fleiss and Jay Gordon), but we're hoping to find someone closer to home.

Pediatricians woh are Seventh-Day Adventist will always be supportive of a vegetarian diet.

Loma Linda University Medical School (not far from you) is an extremely well known and high caliber school - It graduates many pediatricians each year, and many (though not all) are Seventh-Day Adventists (because the school is sponsored/supported by the Seventh Day Adventist church)
Contact the school and find a graduate in your area, chances are they'll be very understanding and supportive, as the Adventist religion advocates vegetarianism as part of a healthy lifestyle.
They will NOT "preach" at you or try and convert you or anything however!
You WILL want a pediatrician who's close by - you'll have many more doctor appointments (scheduled and unschedlued) than you ever imagined...

Great idea! Our backup hospital for birth is an Adventist hospital in Glendale. I should have thought about that.
