I am in ravioli heaven! They have VEGAN Ravioli! And it's to die for!

Just got this stuff at my co-op and it is truely the best stuff ever. I have to get some more NOW! Like tonight. Like this minute, leave work and drive 45 minutes!!

Not sure how widely they're distributed... I just had their Artichoke and Kalamata Olive VEGAN Ravioli - it tastes like it has a TON of cheese in it... creamy and tangy and ... (*faints*).

Oo my co-op didn't have the kalamata one when they were on sale a few months back. Thats the sort of thing I only buy on sale cause damn they're expensive for not a ton of ravioli! The ones I had were good though.

They can be expensive - maybe that's why I hadn't tried them before. They were on sale - and it appears the website has printable coupons too... and it's still cheaper than going out to eat...

Mmm, I love the butternut squash flavor too. I only buy them when they go on sale. I'll have to try the kalamata olive flavor next time if my store carries it.

TNS, thanks for recommending this. I picked up a couple of packets of this from Whole Foods on my way home today (it was on sale here, too). I had the vegan spinach florentine ravioli tonight -- tossed it in olive oil and it was DELICIOUS. :)

What kind of sauce did you use, BTW?

Ooo, neato! Looks like they're a regular at Whole Foods nationwide, because they show up down here in Houston, too (at least according to the website). Must look for them. Darn it, I just made my weekly trip to Whole Foods, too!

Um...well, I had planned to make a pesto sauce but they were so dang good I just drizzled some olive oil and fresh garlic.

I emailed them to ask for coupons. It seems what you do is send them your address and they mail you coupons. I also told them people here were gushing about them!

Yeah, this is true and maybe I should have specified this in my original post... not all varities are vegan.

However - they have a LOT of flavors that ARE vegan and they clearly have a "VEGAN" identification right on the front of the label.

I have e-mailed my local HFS about getting them here. They are going to look into it, and were very interested since they've tried for months and months to get soy boy here, but soy boy won't do business in Canada.

How expensive are they exactly? I know sometimes you guys have a different sense of what's expensive than what I do, since we seem to pay a lot more on average for things in Canada.

I LOVE Rising Moon's ravioli! Our favorites are the spinach florentine and the butternut squash. :lick: I don't like to hide them under a bunch of sauce, I just top them with garlic , olive oil, and some vegan parmesan.

Personally, I don't think they are that great. I like 'em okay and they are easy to fix. Where I live they cost about $3.79 per package, but sometimes go on sale 2/$5. Right now Wild Oats has them on sale. One package serves two people, if you have bread and salad, too.

I like them with a marinara sauce on them.
