I like angels on bare skin, and thier glitter bugs, also their round shampoo bars (there's one with cinnamona nd clove in it, can't think of the name).

Lush stuff is great, but I have difficulty with how highly it is scented.

Much of the stuff is way too scented for me, to the point where I end up sneezing violently!

man, I love Lush. The solid shampoos are my favorite, especially Irresisible Bliss, Seanick, and Karma Komba. Sympathy for the Skin hand/body lotion is really nice too.

I also got Silky Underwear.. smells so light on skin, so much better than spraying perfume. I powder myself on my body where ever my love will be snuggling up on. ;}

I also got a sample of herbalism.. gonna give that a try.

I like jungle solid conditioner, blonde solid shampoo, coal face, amazonian, aromacreme, and celestial. I recently got some freebies from the 05 Holiday line, but I haven't tried them out yet.

Hows Aqua Marina for you? Isnt it too oily for skin?

Ocean salt isn't vegan, just so you know (I was going to get it a while ago until I noticed).

I haven't used any of their products before, but I have heard a lot of good things. Unfortunately, they used parabens in their conditioners, and they have been scientifically proven to be bad for your health :(

Yeah I tend to avoid products that contain *parabens.. if they're last on the ingredients list and its safely synthenic then maybe.. but i would refuse to use it.

Im just gonna finish wat I have since they're so expensive..

I am like, pulling my hair out waiting for this Lush store in A.C. to open up (the only one within 100s of miles of me). It's said "coming soon" for months now! C'mon, just let me in already!! Of course, I could always just order online, but it can't compare to the actual experience of going to a cool new store for the first time with all the sights and smells hitting you and falling in love... *sigh*

Don't worry about it, I didn't want you to feel bad, just wanted to let you know!

If you check out the website or the paper they have it will give you a list of what's vegan.

I loooove the Big shampoo. I use it and the Veganese conditioner once or twice a week and it makes my hair all soft and shiny.

I also really like the Silky Underwear dusting powder, but my very favorite product is the Soft Coeur massage bar which smells like chocolate and vanilla and makes me want to lick my own arm when I use it (or lick the person I'm using it on, which is more the point, I think ;)).

I love the Silky Underwear as well. I have the Soft Coeur as well but have not used it yet... just waiting for my bf and I to have the special moments alone. :trick:

Ooh, I forgot one of my other favorite Lush products, the Pied de Pepper foot cream. It smells so yummy. Also, the Almond Butter Creme is .

This thread is making me want to go on a Lush shopping spree!

i'll be hoofing it up to Boulder soon. I was looking at the Big/ Veganese combo myself.
Care to explain your hair texture?
I've got thick straight oily on top dry at the bottom tailbone length hair.
I have the feeling Lush will be an expensive proposition!
Should I get hooked, are these "standard" products? Do they stay around?

Lush is expensive but well worth it. They give free samples so you can give them a try before you buy.

I have not use any of their shampoos or conditioner.. im happy with what im using, Iden.

I went today and it was so confusing between herbalism and coalface. So i bought the herbalism and got a sample of coalface. But my auromere soap that i recently rediscovered is working so nicely so far!!!

My hair sounds similar to yours, except not nearly as long, it falls just at my shoulders right now. I use a less expensive shampoo and conditioner most days and just use the Lush stuff a couple times a week, partly because it can be a bit drying if used every day, and partly because it is so expensive. With the Big shampoo, because it has the salt crystals in it, I mainly massage it into my scalp and then pull the suds through the ends (it lathers like crazy so a little goes a long way).

I have to be really careful in the store, I can easily drop over $100 without even thinking about it.

Most of the products we've been discussing are pretty "standard". They have some seasonal items, and sometimes things get discontinued, but the really popular stuff sticks around.
