Oh Sally.. i thought i told you awhile back...
I met him 3 months ago.. wasnt part of the plan. he wasnt suppose to fall in love with me (but im just easy to fall in love with and I warned him).. but he did. The more i spent time with him, the more i fell for him.
He's already talking about marriage. I have been ready to get married in the last 2 years looking for marriage potentials. And now that he has been asking me.. im so scared. I can marry him.. but the problem is.. my parents dont know. He's a different race, older, and something else.. so my parents wouldnt be too happy about it.
This past weekend, he got me a $200 Tiffany & Co. signature bracelet. he said i"It was either this or the ring." hehe.
I want to get him something special.. but i dont know.
V-day is all about women.. women are the one who makes a man feel special... ahem.
Sally, will you be my Valentine too? ;}

well, being that we're getting married this fall and need to save money to pay for the darned thing, the boy and i agreed to not get each other anything. however v-day is also our anniversary so we will do our usual dinner and a movie datenight.
one idea we had though was instead of getting each other gifts we could go into a .. ahem.. "grownup" store and pick out something for both of us :naughty: i think it's kind of a cool and romantic idea and would be fun rather than the usual gift-hunting stress.

Make him some baked goods?
The man and I are going to a concert together as a gift, and I plan on making some sort of baked goods for him :)

Ideas:
Traditional (expensive, if you are looking to match his gift):
-Concert tickets to a hot act he likes that will be touring soon (U2, etc.)
-Sporting event tickets
-a trip for the two of you to get a massage together
-a night away at a nearby luxury hotel with room service
-a new watch
Traditional (cheap)
-Chocolates and baked goods made by you
-a book he's been wanting to read
-a nice picture of the two of you, framed
---
I'm getting my husband a pair of star wars boxers, a family guy T-shirt and a booklet filled with sudoku boards for him to play (he loves it!) ;-) More joke gifts than anything else, but i'm not really aiming to impress the way you are ;-) Good luck!

By the way - the tickets don't have to be FOR valentines day... you can get concert tickets for events well ahead of time, and give them to him now, so he can be excited up until then! :-)
