I'm a thrifter. I only buy online if I've had trouble finding it at Goodwill, the Salvation Army, the Village Discount Outlet, and garage sales.
I hate shopping, but online it isn't so bad. I buy everything online, except for pants because I have to try them on. I'm really picky about stuff that I wear, and instead of getting that icky-I'm-in-a-store feeling, I can just type what I want in Google and find it almost anything I want (and I have weird taste in some things).

I love online shopping. I'd say it's about half online, half in store.

Same here. Depends on what it is though.

I like online shopping, but not for clothes or shoes because I really need to try them on first. I tried buying shoes at zappos.com but I ended up returning tons of shoes before I found anything comfortable, which was quite frustrating. Anything you can buy at amazon.com...I'm there. I did most of my Christmas shopping there and it was so fast and no crowds and no 8.25% sales tax! yay!

Zappos.com! Oh, No! I just ordered shoes for my daughter's wedding. I hope they feel ok. But they do have a great return policy. I LOVE Amazon.com.

I do LOTS of online shopping - mostly from the UK. Anything vegan, dvd's, books ...
Everything is expensive here in Denmark, and in my area it's also hard to find vegan groceries.

I am afraid to shop online. I am one of those people who has to see what they are buying first. The only things I have ever bought from online were two CDs on ebay.

I like to shop online. In fact, I have some places that I am going to be ordering from really soon. My sisters ordered some shoes from Zappo.com and they absolutely loved them. They looked really nice on their feet.

I would say I do a lot of shopping online now. For clothing I know a certain brand that always fits so I just stick with that and if I feel like I need another fleece from there or soemthing, I just order it online. I like to buy things for my classroom on amazon too becasue you can find them a lot cheaper there such as books on tape or teacher resource books. I <3 amazon.

I used to buy a lot in stores. Since I've been trying to be vegan, and the area I live in isn't. I have had to do a lot more on line. A few stores around me will order things from venders I find on line, but vegan shoes have been hard to find. At least in my size. I have had to buy clothes on line because of dimensions (5'11" 120 lbs). My legs are too long and thin to buy clothes in stores and that's been true for 15 years or more. I would have to travel 4 hours or more to shop for clothes that might fit. I think on line is better than that for the environment.

Stores. Online is too expensive these days.
i hate to leave my house...i hate crowds, hacking through traffic, and looking for some simple item in multiple stores only to come home empty-handed with half my day wasted and a gallon of gas burned for nothing
so i buy stuff online mostly

In stores whenever I can. First because if I wake up at 9 wanting a certain item, I want to get it within the next hour. Then because I prefer paying cash than with a credit card. Then because.. well it's just cooler to, say, go in a record store, pick up a CD, go to the counter with it and then carry your little bag home than it is to click on "Order Now".
But.. I do buy CDs and DVDs online if I can't find them in stores or if they are way cheaper.
Clothes and shoes I would never buy online because I need to try them on first!
As for food.. well sometimes I do wish I had access to some products that are sold only in the States for example, but 99% of what I need is sold here and ordering food from the States is so very expensive, plus the trouble of getting it through the customs... it really isn't worth it!

I buy everything in real life. I think the only things I have ever gotten online are AR materials. You can't try things on or really tell the kind of quality/condition they are unless you see them yourself.
