Oh, a question. I've been using a trial size of Burts Bee's Carrot Complexion soap, which has done well for me - but I can't afford to shell out the $15 for a bar of soap.
Are you sure it's $15?? That sounds like a lot, and I've always seen the full size bar to be $8, or a little less if it's on sale. You can check a bunch of online websites that sell it, or even burtsbees.com, and they all list it at $8.

I don't know you're skin type, but I really love Earth Science's Clarifying Facial Wash, it's about $6-7 I think. I have combo skin btw.

A pure vegetable glycerin soap may not be the best bet, depending on your skin type and the ingredients of the soap. In general, most soaps are alkaline, and can be drying and throw you're skin off balance. Though I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try it, since if it doesn't work out you can use it on your body.

I'm in Canada - the prices are different. It may also be the area. I'll check the website and see if I can get a better deal :)

Edit: Nope - checked it out - Burts only ships in America, and those are American prices, checked a bunch of Canadian and they're all at approx $15. :( I don't think I've seen Earth Science's Claryfying Facial Wash - but keep in mind different countries, and different prices :)) Will take anothe peak at the local HFS and see what I can manage. Thanks for the advice

I love Merry Hempsters lip balm also, cinnamon is my favorite. I also love Nature's Gate Jojoba shampoo and conditioner. My hair isn't as dry as when I was using Pantene etc. Plus it smells wonderful
My favorite soap is Mysore sandalwood soap from India. I used to order it online but I now get it at an Indian grocery store nearby. It makes your skin smell good forever after using it and sandalwood is good for your skin.

I LOVE Pureology for my hair ... my hair was really brittle and dry before I started using it. It's expensive, but one bottle of shampoo has lasted me 5+ months, so I can totally justify paying what I do. (Plus it's 100% vegan and cruelty-free.)

I just started using Aubrey Organics skin care line for oily skin and it's amazing ... I was using ProActiv for years and not getting good results. This stuff has surpassed that and it's only been a few days ...

Sometimes you have to pay a little more for the good stuff.

Something really great I found if you have tempremental teenage-style skin is Weleda's Aknedoron. Never been animal tested, all vegan! Worked a treat for me.

Tisserand hand and nail cream is good too. Smells yummy. :)

Love The Body Shop's Soy & Calendula facial cleanser. What a treat for dry skin.

I also love Aveda's course styling cream....can't think of the name. This is a product that goes a long way. I'm on my second in three years!

You all should really check out "Paula's Choice" products - they are freakin fantastic. She sells face, body, hair and makeup products, none of which are tested on animals.
