Being tired all of the time can be from alot of things, you might want to try getting your iron up either way. Are you getting atleast a full 7-9 hours of sleep a night? It seems by your post all you really drink is juice, try drinking atleast 5-8 8oz glasses of water a day to keep hydrated. You need some variety in your food, pick up a cookbook, or if you're not a very good cook- try veg*n friendly frozen foods which are easy to just toss in the oven or microwave, there are tons of simple recipes on the recipe forum as well...one of my favorites- brocolli and rice...yum. Exercising will also give you more energy, so if you're feeling tired and you know you've had enough sleep, are well hydrated and you're not hungry, try going for a 15 minute walk- it will probably make you feel alot better. If it continues though you should probably see a doctor.

That is not a very good diet, and includes almost no vegetables or protein.
You should not depend on juice for all your fruit/veg servings. Maybe you could actually make a smoothie instead of juice one of those times? Use different fruits, and maybe some soy milk.
You need to eat a much more varied diet. Some of the dinners I eat regularly include:
- "cheesy" broccoli casserole
- soy ginger tofu/vegetable stir fry
- veggie burger (bean burger, lentil burger, nut burger) or tofurky sandwich with soup (lentil, black bean, minestrone, vegetable, pea, chili etc.)
- enchilada
- burritos/nachos
- pasta with tomato sauce and sauteed vegetables
- pad thai
- Red coconut curry noodles with vegetables
- soba noodles with mixed greens in soy sauce
- protein (tempeh, tofu, veggie burger) with potatoes and garlic sauteed vegetables
- tempeh jambalaya
- tofu vindaloo
- fried noodles and vegetables
- pizza
- spicy indian seitan and chick peas on rice
- curried lentils on rice with sauteed vegetables
- falafel
- linguine tossed in olive oil/herbs with sauteed vegetables
- mexican rice and beans
It's really important that you eat lots of vegetables, whole grains, and healthy protein/fat sources.

My immediate thought is you may not be getting enough 'energy' = FOOD. Not only may you not be getting enough food, of the food you mentioned it is very low in carbs. Carbs are you number one source of energy! Those 'carbs' are not good for you critics - BULL!, they are needed, which I am sure you know. It is the amount you eat and the type you eat. I am sure you are well aware of what good carbs are.
As far s how many? Depends on your lifestyle. Frommy experience everyone should have at least 50% of their diet from carbs. If you are very sedentary and do not exercise and yuor job is a sit down type of job, your carbs should still be 50%. If you are active at work and exercise often try about 58% of your diet from good carbs.
The best thing you can do with your current diet is to take milk out of your diet. Your body is fighting to digest something it is not intended to have. You will be amazed how you feel once you take dairy out of your diet.
These are all just suggestions. Please feel free to use them :)
Oh - you cannot beat exercise! ENERGY MAKES ENERGY - LAZY MAKES LAZY!
good Luck with everything!

If your doctor told you were anemic before, and you JUST started doing something about it, one could hazard to guess that you still are anemic and you should keep up the multivitamins or iron pills. It takes more than a few days to resolve anemia.
As far as your diet goes... you aren't eating very much. Not having enough to eat can make you feel run down.

Try more variety and more protien and more food!
Make sure you are getting a full night's sleep.
Excersize regularly, even if it's just a jog around the block, regular excersize can help you feel away and motivated, help you sleep better at night, and help you deal with stress, and make you healthier.
Stress and having a lot to do also can make you feel tired and worn down, believe me, I'm going through it right now.
If the fatigue is not resolved with a proper diet, id go see a naturopath. Fatigue can be from anything, hypothyroidism, hypoglycemia and lots of other stuff. Ive been tired for a while and i found out i have adrenal insufficiency.

You can ask your doctor to test your blood pressure. Low blood pressure can make you tired. Other than that, everything I can think of has been mentioned.
If you do have low blood pressure, s/he'll probably just give you pills, I take them occasionally when I'm feeling tired.
Good advice above. Especially about energy foods. Try to include protein, fat and good carbs in your meals. The juice especially might be causing blood glucose spikes and falls that zap your energy.
However, it is important to go back to the doc for more bloodwork. If you've had iron deficiency anemia before, you this indeed could very well be the culprit of your fatigue.
Good luck!

hi , I think asking doctors and naturopaths is a great idea. Also I find with me that it's not just iron it's also iodine. Seaweed seems to do it for me alot of the time , nori etc , it has lots of iodine, so if you're consulting professionals maybe ask them about that as well as the iron. Also tried some hemp seeds the other day ! they were in an energy bar , not a very exciting snack but the energy from that was incredible ! xxxxxx
' sustainability begins in the kitchen ; love nut butters , smoked tofu and seaweed ; there are not many poems about roast lamb ; the future's Japanese ! ':pibo:

You aren't getting enough calories, protein or vegetables with that diet. Juice is pretty much sugar water. I see you are lacto ovo, so replace the juice with a fruit serving (like an apple, or orange, or strawberries, blueberries, kiwi - mix it up!) and veggie and dip (like carrots, celery, mushrooms and ranch or hummus), and add to the lunch a low fat yogurt, low fat cottage cheese, or low fat string cheese for protein.
For dinner - you really need something more substantive. There are lots of good suggestions in this thread, look at www.vegweb.com or the recipes section here for some dinner ideas. Think protein.
Did your doctor tell you to take iron? How much? Iron should really be administered under a physician's care.
Other possibilities- lack of sleep, poor sleep (apnea, alcohol before bed, teeth grinding, etc.)
Lack of exercise
Lack of sunlight
Stress
Depression
Virus
And diet as already mentioned with many good suggestions

Also replace fruit juice with fruit smoothies!

replace fruit juice with whole fruit and peanut butter or yogurt dips, make a more substantial dinner (to echo what others have said), you shoudl be having carbohydrates, protein, and fat at all of your meals... snack frequently. if you were vegan i'd say "nut butter, nuts, seeds" and leave it at that, since you are l/o i say "full fat yogurts, cheese, milk, eggs... use butter on your toast..."
