The problem is the sentancing for animal cruelty is so pathetic it makes a mockery of so called justice. Until the punishment 'fits' the crime animal cruelty will contiunue to increase.
i read about this in the paper.i thought the fines & 10 year ban was quite a good result.

It should surely be a lifetime ban at least! If they were to treat a human being in a similar manner they would have got a prision sentance, although it was better than the woman who put her cat in the washing machine she got 5 weeks !!!

unfortunatly, the law views it as 'just an animal' :-/
