I just have to say that this stuff is soooo awesome. I bought a jar at our new local vegan boutique, Fast and Furless, and had some on pancakes this morning. :lick: It's incredible!!! Especially with peanut butter on pancakes!!!
I noticed that missleigh carries it at her online vegan store: http://www.cosmosveganshoppe.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=JLH&Category_Code=GFF&Product_Count=10

What nutrients does it have? I'll have to check into it. Trying to cut out everything refined.

Does it actually taste like honey though?
I looked into importing it here, but too expensive unfortunately....

It actually tastes very much like honey. Which is amazing since the ingredients are only brown rice syrup, chicory syrup, maple syrup, natural flavors.

It's a natural, unrefined sweetener. Not much in the way of nutrients, though. :)

It says it's macrobiotic....what does that mean exactly?

I don't know very much about macrobiotic diets, only that they are usually vegan and rely heavily on rice and other grains. I suppose the brown rice syrup is a macrobiotic approved sweetener?

Hmm.. I'd love to try this stuff, next time we are researching new producst, I think I'll ship some of this in.
I do miss honey, though maple syrup is awsome in it's own right!

IMO, this stuff is better than maple syrup! I had some again tonight on leftover pancakes. I'm totally hooked!

I like to take some balsamic vinegar, 1tsp olive oil, 1tsp Just Like Honey, pinch of thyme, pinch of basil, shake and pour. It's a nice dressing in a pinch and the JLH really balances the tartness of the vinegar.
And I like it in tea when I'm sick :)

Great stuff. I've been using it ever since missleigh recommended it to me.

Well, I supose I'll have to buy it now. I have been so curious about it for a while. I never liked plain honey but I loved honey mustard.
