When I make a post (I've made three or four in the last few days), they do not come up when I view "New Posts".
Why not?
Also, this new thread didn't come up either.
I've never seen this happening on a v-bulletin board before.

I recently made a change that's causing this. New posts made by you don't show up. I assume it's because since you just typed out the post you don't really need to read it.
The good thing about the new way is that it will keep track of which posts you have or have not read indefinitely. It used to time out after 15 minutes or so. Now you can get on, read a few posts, and come back later without losing the others. It used to be once you got on you'd pretty much have to go through them all or they would be marked read when you came back later.
I hope that makes sense.
Well, it will make sense when I've read it a few times.
Thanks Michael for taking the time to explain! :)

A better name would be "Unread Posts" because only threads that have unread posts in them show up when you click that button...
So, if you hit new posts, and then read some of the threads and hit new posts again, those threads won't show up on the list of "Unread Posts".
