I finally had it, and I don't like it. It has an astringent medicine-y taste. I much prefer Oregon Chai.

i used to like it, but the past few times i've gotten it, it just hasn't tasted right. i couldn't drink more than a few sips.

Yeah, it tastes weird... almost like a sort of menthol-y taste.
I didn't like it much. I didn't taste anything "funny," it just wasn't good chai.

Now I have this carton of it in my fridge that I'll either have to drink or throw out!

I didn't like it either. I ended up adding chocolate syrup and silk light vanilla to it. Then I was able to drink it.
I think it was the spices that I didn't like. They didn't have them in harmony or something.

tess - when i had this problem, i used it in my vegan french toast instead of soymilk, and added extra vanilla and spices..
when dripping w/maple syrup, you can't tell that the silk chai is icky
