There's a big gap in support for college animal rights activist -- right now, it's very much a "fend for yourself" type of environment. When you're starting from zero, it takes a lot of effort to build a strong student organization on your campus to advocate for animals. Students have traditionally been a strong force in progressive movements, and we're in the process of building that momentum in the animal rights movement right now through The College Animal Rights Coalition. The mission of The College Animal Rights Coalition is to mobilize student animal rights activists to let their voices be heard, to organize in their communities, and to help student organizations to identify and address issues which affect animals.
