I'm just wondering if anyone else finds this annoying. The strings are too damn long! They get into your other bits and nasty. I use OB and I think their strings are longer than most. I started cutting mine so they don't get in the way of using the restroom. Gross, I know, but I have to vent.

eww I hate OB, that is the brand I first started out with...can't stand them. But I'll agree with the string thing.

OK, good. I wanted to make sure I didn't have an abnormal vagina or something or that I was putting it in wrong!

I use tampax pearl and sometimes playtex beyond which are really comfortable but aren't available in the store closest to me :doh:
so sometimes I forget and end up using the tampax pearl..but ANYWAY, I have a huge fear so "losing" my tampon, not sure why..
anyway not to get too personal, but if you use the jr tampons (in size, I think they have normal, super, super plus I think..whatever)...maybe the string lenghts vary??? because I really have never had a problem with the string size and I use jr and regular.

I really hate tampon strings. I'd rather have them without strings.

i don't really mind them or their length (i've always used primarily ob).

I tuck mine in so they stay clean and out of the way. (Learned that trick from some friends who were exotic dancers--they all used this trick so they could still dance when it's that time of the month).

Tuck 'em in the same place where you just put your tampon! I don't use appilcators, so it's easy for me to just roll up the string and push it in with my finger.

this is what i do also on the rare occasions that i use tampons anymore.

Back in the day when I used to use tampons, I'd just hold the string to the side whenever I was using the toilet. Easiest thing ever.

I hate tampons and I refuse to wear them. I tried them when I first started menstrating and I found them extremely uncomfortable so I always wear pads. Yeah, I even remembered for the short amount of time that I wore them that the string was annoying as hell.
