Does anyone know of high-protein vegetarian fitness/ diet programs. I've hit a plateau for months now...with WeightWatchers. I think I need something to shake up my metabolism and create more lean muscle mass. I'm sure I'm eating enough protein to sustain my health...but I need a boost so I can tone quicker. Any suggestions are welcomed!

Have you tried the Core Weight Watchers program? I've heard that a lot of people are having great success on Core - and that it's a great plateau buster.

I'm half-heartedly on Weight Watchers too. :hi:

I actually started with Core and gained weight. Perhaps it's something to look into again.

Cut out grains for a while. Eat moderate amount of beans, tofu, meat substitutes (if you like them), load up on veggies, fresh and cooked. Cut out sugar. Make berry smoothies for that sweet tooth. With protein powder, some berries and water you have a complete meal.
For snacks make oil free bean dips. Black beans, chick peas, pinto beans or whatever you like and use veggies instead of chips. Don;t forget some low sugar salsa! Yum. lol I love good salsa
Make soups with beans and veggies. Tofu and miso.
Eating like this for a few weeks should get you going again.
Eat until you are full and eat when you are hungry.
If you still want to eat some grains, eat a little at a time. Not too many at one meal.
Ok?
Just some tips.
What do you think?
Good Luck.
