I need to tone the front of my thighs. Any one have any ideas?
I work out roughly 4 times a week. Twice with 30 to 45 minutes of cardio and the other two days with weights for the same amount of time.

If you really want thighs of steel, you should strap on a backpack, with supplies for a week, and hike the nearest mountain range for 50-60 miles.
Distance running is great for hamstrings, but not great for quads. In fact, some running ailments like Runner's Knee can be caused by insufficient quad strength.
Gym exercises that help quads...
Quad Lift machine
Leg Press
Squats
But no gym exercise will come close to a weekend skiing, or a week on the trail.

Pilaties helps some, but the BEST thing for my thighs has been running. I've found that running(especially running hills) really gets thighs muscular, but still slender.

Put your back flat against the wall and squat down until your bum is level with your knees. Make sure your knees do not extend past your ankles. Hold for as long as possible.

Use the step machine during cardio and do lunges on your weights days.

Ooh, I agree. Running is great. Also like some said lunges and sqauts are great. You can mix it up if you have a stepper and if you want, add the weights.
