I have a tube of this that ran out a couple of months ago, and I've been unable to find it again anywhere. I used it for several months when I first moved here, buying it at Whole Foods. Now, I don't see in at any local HFS, Whole Foods, TJ's, Vegan Essentials...nada.

I went to the Tom's site and can only find the Cinnamint w/flouride (no whitening) or the "natural" (no flouride) with whitening. There's also this, which I've not seen before, but it's similar to what I used
http://tomsofmaine.com/toms/product.asp?dept%5Fid=450&pf%5Fid=LTP%2DAC

I'm going to write to them (again), but just wondering if anyone else has spotted it. I even went back to check the tube to make sure I wasn't imagining things! Sure enough...Cinnamint, whitening gel, with flouride, in a tube.

Well, I just checked what's available through our distributors, and I can only find the cinnamint w/fluoride and the cinnamint whitening without fluoride. Tom's may have discontinued the one your looking for. You should contact them to be sure. :)

You might check big lots, and other discount type stores for it. Thats where I got my stock of gingermint when they quit making it. Sadly I'm almost out

ETA: ohhh, there is a gingermint w/ baking soda now there is hope!

You know what i recently found which rocked my world? The Whitening orange mango for adults (not for kids) ----- WOW its awesome!!! (unlike the kids' version, it has a little menthol in it to give you that clean-just-brushed feeling.... YUM!!!!!! ) I bought 3 tubes the next day to make sure I won't run out!!!

I only use the fennel flavor... anything else just seems wrong, now.

If you suddenly can't find it anywhere, it IS possible that TOM's discontinued that particular item. I was using their fennel flavored for-sensitive-teeth formula toothpaste and suddenly couldn't find it anymore. I finally emailed TOM's and they responded that it had been discontinued, but hey, they still had the sensitive-teeth formula in other flavors! I don't like the other flavors. :brood:

I'm almost certain it's discontinued- I bought a boatload of the stuff at a discount store called Reny's when I visited Maine this summer, wondering why it was $1.99.
My guess is it was discontinued, which is a shame: I love the stuff!!:(
But I will happily go back to Weleda Salt Toothpaste when I am done my 10 or so little squeeze bottles of it.

I would contact Vegan Essentials. Since they carry the line, either they could order it in (if they aren't already waiting on a shipment), or they would know if it is discontinued.

They wrote back today! (I had written before with no response). TOM says that the cinnamint is discontinued. I'm kinda bummed, since everyone I know that tried it (except my mom) liked it. They recommended this http://tomsofmaine.com/toms/product.asp?dept_id=450&pf_id=TP-WCG in the Cinna-clove flavor. I'll give it a whirl if I see it, but I'm not sure about the clove. The wintermint looks good too..I remember it being "minty fresh" without being "holy crap mint" fresh like the peppermint stuff I'm using now. heh

Wintermint is delicious & mild. :vebo:
I also see that Desert Essence has a new cinnamon gel in a plastic squeeze bottle, which may rival Tom's. DE is a great company. I didn't buy any because I've still got my 10 bottles of Tom's!!:tired:

BTW clove is highly antiseptic & analgesic- I bet it would feel great after flossing.
