Don't you just love a Bargain? I went to Eckerd yesterday (It's a pharmacy, drug store CVS type place) and I got a ceramic dreidel platter for 99 cents and an adorable large melamime(sp?) snowman platter with built in dip section for $1.49.

Share your bargains!

I always try to get the 1.5 liter bottles of water from Trader Joe's because they sell there for 49 cents each. Everywhere else it's 99 cents and up.

Oh, how I wish we had a Trader Joe's! I bought a massive candy bar for 99 cents at Kroger's today. Not the healthiest bargain, but a really good one. :)

i was browsing my local big lots in search of a 3 ring binder for some important papers, when i stumbled upon a clothing rack! not one to pass up bargains, (or clothes) i started looking. i was happy to find that this rack held clothes once at the target only a few blocks away. most of it was "active wear" i think the brand is prospirit? any way they had all sorts of prospirit and everlast, i copped me some leggings, and an osh kosh bigosh cardigan(kids, but fits my small frame) for 5 dollars!! the cardigan had orginal tags claiming that this beauty once sold for thirty six dollars!
.... i never found that three ring binder.

Last week I got a coat at a thrift store that reaches down to the tops of my feet. It fits me perfectly, is precisely what I was looking for, and only cost me $1.50. I shall have to post pictures in the photo album.

Best bargain I have ever seen: My mom found NORTHFACE ski pants for 10 bucks at the GoodWill--they are normally about 250!!!! Seriously, we both started dancing around--people there must've thought we were drunk!!!

My mom and I can be VERY cheap (see my other thread on here about cheap produce)--half my bat mitzvah stuff was "hand-me-downs".

I got Kashi Go Lean Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal for $1 at the grocery outlet! (It is usually way overpriced at the regular grocery store)

Last week I bought an acrylic knit poncho for $6.97 CDN (I get chilly in the evenings and it is nice and cozy). The original tags on it read £25. I don't recall where it was made, but it was obviously made for the UK market and it wound up at a discount store in Canada. The conversion works out to be about $50 CDN if I were to pay a Canadian comparison price. What a deal! I went back and bought a second one in a different colour. It was a great price anyway, but somehow I feel like I got a real steal.

I can always find TVP for $1.29 at this bulk natural food store. It never changes, but I always feel like I'm finding a bargain. I know its much cheaper than that outside of NYC, but I can't really get out of the city very often, soI take what I can get.

The Salv Army is always the place for great finds. Congrats to you Dietcoke, for the score of the Northface pants! I found a knee length kermit green coat last year for $6. I love it.
