Today:
Something different. My club put on a holiday classic race and I volunteered at a water table with a bunch of other people that ran las vegas. It was interesting seeing the other side of things. We will be back into long runs next week!

Went on the treadmill last night for 45 minutes, followed by some crunches, pushups and stretching.

Yesterday, I took a 7 mile run. The weather was perfect and just a bit chilly! Today I did about 75 jumping jacks (cold and trying to warm up :p ), 30 mins of upper body weights/cardio and 15 mins of pilates abs. 8 mile run tomorrow.

Good job everybody!
The 8 mile run turned into a 7 mile run. Neighbor's dog got out, I caught him, and didn't start running again after returning the dog to the neighbor. :whip: I didn't do any kind of exercise today, but I am going to run somewhere between 9-10 miles tomorrow. Does anyone else find that it can sometimes be so hard to actually get up, get dressed and workout? After I've exercised for about 10/15 minutes, I get "into the groove", but the first few minutes is a pain in the butt...literally! :)

I've been a lazy hamster :) I took the last 3 days off. Bad weather, plus a really crazy schedule due to the impending visit of Mr. Santa. I've resuming my schedule this evening though, as I have xmas get together at Grandma's house tomorrow and I just know there's going to be tons of food there. HAHA I can't wait to sweat!!!!!!! WOOHOOOOOOOOOOO:nana:

broccoli, yes the first 10 minutes or mile of any workout is tough for me. Esepcially in the morning. In the morning I just feel so groggy like I am just a zombie running along the road.
I just run after work now because the runs just feel so much better. It is hard with the day being so short though because I can't run trails in the dark and I much prefer to run with my dog off leash (can't do that in the street).
The only day I don't mind is on Sundays when we do our long runs. I meet a large group of people though for that run.
