It's the fruit trees having their revenge for being double-crossed. Breeding them so they don't have any seeds was never part of the bargain between human and plants. :shifty:

I think that is true.
They were supposed to be seedless mandarins anyway...
Ah well, I'll get over it:)

I had one sunday and the same thing happened! I spent about a half hour eating it because I had to de-seed it all. It was ridiculous.:furious:

When eating food takes more energy than you get from it, it's time to give up.

Jeju oranges. Mmmmmm... Little. Easy to peel...very easy....can get rid of 95% of the white stuff. No seeds. Sweet. Oh so juicy. Some call them mandarins. Some call the oranges. Some call them something else I can't think of now. To me, they are simply delicious. The dogs love them, too.

...why not just eat the seeds?
just think of it as "extra roughage"
but one of my teachers takes it a tad bit too far--
he eats oranges with the peel...ew...

Considering that orange peel is an ingredient in some recipes, I'd have to say that it wouldn't hurt you. Seeds? I don't know. I remember being shocked when I found out that apple seeds contain trace amounts of cyanide in them. Can't remember hearing anything about orange seeds though.
