For years I lived with this with my X. It was a misrable long hard road. Now I married agian, and before I said I do, I made sure that there was nothing to hide, open and honest. I do not think I have much anymore, but that was a long hard road to keep it from someone that you could not be honest with, without fear.

So my question is, do you keep skeleton's in your closet because you do not want to hurt someone or is it just a fear? Can you be honest with this in the people in your life or do you hide it for someone or not be real?

I can tell ya a few of my skeletons if you go first. :D I can say that there is nothing more powerful than honesty. It does not matter if you get hurt by being honest, but it is so worth it to get it off your back. No matter how people feel about you, but your true friends, spouse or family should be there for you and also a good friendship.

I have many. I just figured on the VB that sometimes we can be open and honest(with out judging our veg*n friends) I can be honest on the net. I had a bad skeleton, for 4 years that made me misirable every day.

I know some people can not express this, because you have people in your real life that is on these boards. Anyone, Bular?

I don’t think any person in my life knows everything about me. I don’t know if I would consider it skeletons though. I would never share my past with my mother lol, not because I’m ashamed of it but I don’t want to giver her an aneurism. What do you consider skeletons?

Well, be careful what you share online... This forum can be viewed by anyone with access to a computer, y'know.

(My kids never figured I'd look at their blogs, but they eventually learned otherwise.) ;)

I had an afair with my first hubby. They both Know that. My hubby is the best! I keep no secrets from him! It took me 4 years to tell my husband at that time that I was married to him. We are great freinds to this day.

Not everyone knows everything about me, but for the most part, I'm very honest about my past. This causes raised eyebrows at times because I am a very laid back person and to look at me you'd think I'd never done anything wrong...but I've actually had a pretty wild life so far in different ways.
