I stumbled upon a good gift idea...

An organic fruit sampler for just $29.99 or $39.99 (free shipping!) from proflowers.com

the $39.99 sampler contains:

2 Certified Organic Bartlett or Comice Pears

2 Certified Organic Fuji or Gala Apples

2 Certified Organic Navel Oranges

4 Certified Organic Kiwi

6 Certified Organic Bananas

I think this would be a fantastic idea for my husband's grandparents. We send them some sort of food item every year for the holidays/their birthdays. They are 90+ years old and have everything else they could ever want, KWIM? At least I know I would love this!
:p

The smaller sampler for $29.99 contains:

2 Certified Organic Bartlett or D'Anjou Pears

2 Certified Organic Fuji or Gala Apples

2 Certified Organic Navel Oranges

2 Certified Organic Kiwi

2-3 Certified Organic Bananas

I agree that it's a perfect thing to get the people whom have everything. Fruit is always a good choice for them! :)

Great gift idea but pricey! I say just make it yourself for less : ) I did that last year for my daughters teacher. I made her an organic food basket with stuff from Trader Joes. I didnt actually put in a basket though, I got one of those canvas shopping backs they sell and loaded it up with 15 items.

Making it yourself is a good idea, but if you're sending it to people who live across the country, I say save yourself the trouble!

Do they ship to Canada? I neglected to look. This reminds me, are we doing Secret Santa stuff on here this year?

I have ordered from them in the past. My parents bought us a $100 gift cert for Christmas one year. The shipping costs are horrendous for anything requiring refridgeration. Until I become filthy rich, I probably wouldn't order from them again.
