I bought a bottle of perfume from NEXT in England. On the back I read a logo called FRAME (www.frame.org.uk) with a rabbit on it. I looked at the site and got the impression it was a pile of speil and that the product is tested on animals. I wrote to NEXT and never got a reply? The prefume is JUST PINK by NEXT. Anyone any ideas?
Thanks

PS I was reading on the web about Aussie Shampoo products. I wrote an e mail to see if it was tested on animals and got a reply which more or less said we try not to but.....yet on the web people seem to be saying it is not tested on animals...any ideas folks?

I don't know about the perfume, but Aussie is part of P& G which tests on animals (to find out more products, go to pandgkills.com) I would also like information on perfumes that are vegan and/or cruelty free.

i'm almost positive that Next test it's toiletries on animals.
as for frame, sounds dodgy to me.
my advice would be to steer clear of Next products.look for the BUAV sign to be assured that you're buying cruelty free http://www.buav.org/
hope this helps :)

I would second beepingbird. I work for the BUAV. We only approve companies who operate a fixed cut-off date policy for products and ingredients and who submit assurances from their suppliers that they are adhereing to the fixed cut-off date.

Unfortunately, supporting FRAME does not make a company cruelty-free or mean it is committed to ensuring that it's products are not animal-tested now. If you go to the companies section of their website, you will see their members include P&G, Unilever, Covance and others who animal test at present.
