I hope it's OK to post links here - I really like this magazine!!


I ordered a subscription of "The Elephant" Magazine and received my first copy yesterday. It's quite well done - lots of pictures and even a small kids section!. It's about the size of a "National Geographic" magazine. It was 66 pages - a bit of advertisement but it was all elephant related material. Some really interesting stuff - They talk about elephant sterilisation, Sumatran elephants, elephants and landmines, etc etc.


I really think it's worth looking at. It's the first magazine devoted to elephants that I have ever seen!! I believe it is printed out of the Netherlands so some of the translation is quite interesting...
