The folks at one of my *other* favorite veg. sites (veganfamily.com) just came out with the greatest cookbook, I just had to share...

If you're new to the whole Veg. thing or not (whether you are cooking for a "family' or not...) this is so great 'cause it's super easy, not fussy or fancy and uses regular, old, easy-to-find ingredients!!

Anyway since they actually used a couple of my recipes of course I had to get it... well, I just got my copy and it's really great! I was very nicely suprised! Everything is so simple and no hard-to-find ingredients and my kids LOVED the recipes I made so far...

So - yeah, I thought I'd share the link anyway, (no - no profit in it for me, in case anyone thinks I'm spamming) it's just a great EASY VEGAN cookbook, and I am ALWAYS looking for those. I am seriously going to use this a LOT!

Looks kinda good.

188 recipes for $19.95. That's like 10-11 cents per recipe. All Vegan. ...Quite a deal.

I just got an email about this today from vegfamily. Which recipes did you put in, TNS? I can't wait to get a copy! I've been waiting for this since the very beginning when the idea was presented to vegfamily email subscribers.

Ummm... (I don't have it here in front of me..) Vegetarian "meat" balls and I think a breakfast tempeh recipe...

It's really been a hit with my teens since I got it, they can (or could) cook basically everything in the book.

Tofu-N-Sprouts: Hopefully you don't take a offense to this, I am curious are your children vegans as well?

Wow! Just reading the table of contents makes my mouth water.
Is there a Canadian distributor, can I get it through Chapters?
( I'm not too comfortable ordering online)

Absolutely no offense - (I love talking about my kids - heh).

I have three kids, they are all lacto/ovo vegetarian (and ALMOST VEGAN) when they're eating my cooking, and under my roof...

Occasionally they do have the odd meat item when out with their friends or their dad... <sigh> but when given the choice, they usually opt for something veggie.
