21 mile run.
Ugg. I'm glad that is over with. We had fun out there though.
Veggiemeatpacked, my in-laws live in Long Beach. We live in Riverside at the moment but are moving to Banning in a couple of weeks (if they ever finish building our house).

Finished the 20 yesterday :vebo: and walked for about another mile....yes, it's good to be on taper time.
Captain, did you get your in training t-shirt? I thought that was to cool....I didn't expect it. None of the marathons I've done before ever sent me anything....but then none of them cost as much either :D
WELCOME to all the new Hamsters!!!!
Yeah Hamsters :vebo: :hamster: :vebo:

Slynny, yep I got my training t-shirt. I think they are really trying to advertise this race. And from what I've heard it has been working becasue they have never had this many people signed up for the LV marathon before. --it used to be in January and go on a long road with nothing in between. Having it start and finish on the strip might be helping with registration too.

It was very foggy this morning which made it hard to get out of bed. Whenever I have a tough time starting my morning routine I get started with some pushups to get the blood pumping. Drank a soy proitein shake and some fresh blueberrys (a nice treat this time of year). I finally made it to the gym around 6:30...today was chest and tri-s, then about 30 minutes of cardio.
