No, it's not raw. There are some brands of nutritional yeast that contain whey, so if you're a veg*n that tries to avoid that, that would be something to look out for as well.

It is grown on molasses (not raw). Then it is also pasteurized to kill the yeasts (why nutritional yeast is different from baking or levening yeasts, that kind of thing)
It's not raw but there are a lot of raw recipes and books and some not-quite-100%-raw people that use it as a seasoning so they really aren't using very much.
As jenna said, a lot of raw foodists don't eat 100% raw foods but eat small amounts of cooked foods.
