What exercises seem like they can't hurt us, but they do. I am talking about having to see a doctor after a workout.

Well, if you are talking about the workout that they said on Oprah the other day, I am darn sore.

I got a good ab workout though. No need for a doc.:p

Well I had a personal trainer for 2 months. I understand no pain no loss of weight, but my problem was that I had pains for weeks after straining myself and doing workouts that weren't suitable for me. Let's just say too much of anything can't be good for you. Right now I am not trying to lift weights, but doing more of a cardio workout so I don't hurt myself again. My personal trainer didn't really help me, since he gave me a phobia about some workouts. So I wanted to see if I was the only victim of too much of a good thing.

I always like to tell everyone to read up on exercises from different perspective. Try it out and see what works for you. True, indeed, too much of one thing can be a problem.

When it comes to weight, the more weight you use and less rep, the more bulkier and painful you'll be in. The less weight you can lift and more rep, you should be able to tone.

I was hoping my trainer was going to be able to help me, but he just caused more harm than good. I think your advice should helpl, thanks.
