This story made me laugh so hard I had to share it; mods, remove at will.

In all seriousness, though, I guess it's not a bad idea, along with the avoiding of ties to save on air conditioning. Why can't people here do such simple things? People will spend so much on "green" vehicles but won't get out and walk...

Anyway, neat idea, very Japanese.

That is hysterical!

I love this quote: "The bra, which comes only in white, also features a pendant shaped like a chilli pepper dangling on its front."

So - it's a "Japan-goes-Furry-Southwest" sort of design? Interesting...

The article says that it's a prototype. I can't imagine anyone actually buying that for regular wear, and hitting the uwave every so often to rewarm the pads. I'll bet the guys would hang out in the break room a lot more, though.

The mention of setting thermostats to "only' 20C was interesting, as that's ~68F. Hasn't 67/68 been the recommended setting in the US for quite some time? Mine's at 65.

I read the xtra bit of the article as well, 65 degrees is quite okay too I would think for being fairly comfortable in your room home temp setting.
