i'm new to being a vegetarian and i heard that being a vegetarian when you are a kid can make you really sick dose anyone know if that is true or not? :help:

Well, if you eat crappy as a vegetarian, then yes, you will get sick.

Vegetarianism is considered healthy for all life stages as long as you're eating correctly. You can get sick on any diet if you aren't eating properly. A properly planned vegetarian diet gets all the same nutrients as a properly planned omni diet.
There are VB members who were raised vegetarian from birth and those who have raised their children vegetarian from birth. I'm sure they can give you some tips if you're looking for them.

Thanx my mom heard the same thing and shes not a vegetarian and she thought it was a bad idea to go vegetarian then so thanx a bunch
