and yes, i've checked target, newport news et al., but the quality is gross and they are ill-fitting. i've also checked moo shoes and alternative outfitters, but really haven't found anything i like much. what is your secret boot source?

I have two pair of vegan boots that I love. One is made by Nine West and the other Franco Sarto. I get all my non-leather shoes from places like Shoe Cents, DSW, Marshalls & TJ Max. Really nice shoes are hard to come by, but they are around. Both my boots are pretty nice and no one can tell they're not leather. I just got the cutest bronze strappy sandals recently and they are so confortable AND cheap ($30). You'd swear they were leather. I may have to wait til next spring to wear them though, since it's starting to get chilly here.:p

I know there's a huge thread about shoes flagged in this forum, but it's long and no one pays attention much... I want to know if anyone has some good cold weather boots and where they got them. I'm having a helluva time finding some that don't look cheap and I can actually afford (around $50)... the places where I found ones I like online don't give good descriptions, although I suppose I could email them... but if someone has a good lead that'd help too :)
