I use vinegar mostly to clean, but I need something for my toilet and for raw food spills, dog poop, etc...
Thanks!

I sell Watkins products and theirs are environmentally friendly and cruelty-free.
If you're interested, you can find their products at:
http://www.watkinsonline.com
If you decide to order, it will ask you for my ID# during the checkout process. It's ID#359142.
If not, that's fine too. I'm not pushy when it comes to my biz. Their Organic cleaner is great for a variety of clean up jobs, and their bathroom cleaner is pretty awesome too (and the toilet bowl cleaner has been said to be the best on the market).
Thanks for looking if you decide to look. ~Kelly

Vinegar works fine in the toilet. Soapy water works well for the other things.
I clean only with vinegar, soapy water, Bon Ami, and BarKeepers Friend, and we never experience any signs of too many germs! :)

For the toilet, anything with citric acid would work. This would include cola (especially if a bottle or can has gone flat), Tang, denture cleaner tablets.
Some ideas from "How Clean Is Your House?" possibly for dog poop areas or areas you'd want a clean smell: lemon juice, rubbing alcohol scented with vanilla, (cheap) vodka.

Method all purpose cleaner. I like the lavender variety. Lavender is a natural antibacterial agent.

I like sun and earth products. You can order them online and I THINK that they offer free shipping with orders over $30.00. They used to anyway. I'll repost when i look it up.

I like the Method line of cleaners alot, except that they discontinued the lemon cleaner from the line. This was really nice as it smelled of natural lemon juice. I called and asked about it and the lady told me it didn't sell well enough - figures. Baking soda and vinegar works pretty well for some messes.
