Hi, I am new. :) Well I told my mom that I became a vegetarian and she waved a piece of bacon in my face and said mmmm good. Then I told her at least I am not drinking cow pus and she almost threw up! pretty funny!

I think that is kind of rude, she should be supportive and respect your decision. Tell her that you respect her decision, and that she should respect yours and not behave in such a childish manner.
Many vegetarians drink milk.
:)
If you're off all animal products, you're officially a vegan.
:naughty:
Welcome to VB! :hi: You'll get plenty of support and advice here.

Welcome!
If you want your mom maybe to understand your choice better and if she's open to it I highly recommend a video/dvd called Peaceable Kingdom.
Btw, I don't drink milk but I must say it isn't pus. And human mothers who are breast feeding don't feed their babies pus. It's milk. :)

Sounds me like both of them were just joking around with each other. My mom and I do this all the time, and we are both happy, tollerant and understanding about it.
make some veggie bacon or sausage or something, and then make some yummy sounds while eating it!

but it has pus in it! Go to milksucks.com (I think that's the sight address, but I may be wrong.) It's a PETA sight. They'll tell you all about it.
Aha, I was thinking about it later and I thought that's what you meant. So you don't like a little pus in your milk??? Weird!! lol :)
Bear in mind that PETA exaggerates a lot of what it says for effect.

I don't want to start a fight, but it is behaviour like that which causes so many problems between veggie teens and omni parents.
If you are mature enough to make major dietry and lifestyle changes then you should be able to discuss it politely and in an adult fashion.

Why, thank you.
:D
Yeah, there's really only 1-7 drops of pus per glass (according to a non PETA website, even).

Depends on the cows. It is well known the FDA allows a certain amount of pus in milk. It's not really relevant to this discussion though.
Almost all food, including organic, is going to have some "icky" stuff in it. You have to wash food, and all that, but you can't get rid of it all. We live in a world where perfect sanitation doesn't exist. That's why we have immune systems.

I'm sorry that your mom is not supporting you. I personally think you've made the right decision.
I agree that showing Peaceable Kingdom to your mother would help her better understand your reasons for choosing veganism. There's also "Meet your Meat" from Peta, which you can view directly from their website.
If you could take a vegetarian cooking class together, that might help inspire her want to cook vegetarian food. If there is a Whole Foods or Central Market grocery store near you, they typically offer veg cooking classes. I'm taking a veg thanksgiving cooking class with my mom next week. :)
A great site with really awesome veg recipes is www.compassionatecooks.com. They offer cooking classes too (if you're in the Bay Area).
Good luck to you and try to be patient with your mom. Sometimes it takes "adults" longer to come around to new ideas. Someday she will understand.
