It's not likely vegetarianism itself, rather, I would guess you've been eating like sh*t. I find when I eat, I usually feel better too.

I'm sorry, but don't beat yourself up about it. You are probably not getting enough iron and/or protein. When you don't eat enough iron, you will feel tired and probably get headaches. Iron is in beans, grains, leafy greens, nuts, soy, and supplements. If you don't eat enough protein, you will be hungry and your body will send signals to say it needs protein. Eat whole grains, breads, beans, soy, nuts, nut butter, corn, veggies, and if you eat dairy, it has a lot.

Or you might not be eating enough calories, which would definitely give you headaches, make your stomach ache, and make you very tired and dizzy. If that's the case, your body was happy to get the calories in the chicken soup.

If you want more ideas, feel free to post what type of foods you typically eat in a day so we can pinpoint the problem.

Hope I helped! :D

This is what i have usually in a day.
1) breakfast - *one* of these usually: oatmeal. rolls. yogurt. pancakes. waffles. etc. + milk or oj.
2) Lunch - some snacks like cereal bars and cheetos...orange juice or water... one: nachos/cheese pizza/salad/tomato soup...
3) dinner: lots of pasta/rice/pop or milk/potatoes/mixed veggies...

Hate to sound trite, but it probably is most likely iron and protien as the previous poster suggested. It happend to me when I first gave up meat. I was tired all the time and had no energy and got a general yucky feeling in my body. But when I ate more protien it went away in a snap.
Some people have trouble (i.e. cramps, bloating, headaches, etc.) with adding extra fiber into their diet, is this something you're doing?

Seems like you need to eat more. I'd have stomach pains if that's all I ever ate.

You're currently eating like... all carbs. You need to eat more balanced meals, more protein, more fruits and veggies. What the heck kind of lunch is a cereal bar and cheetoes and nachos?? I think I'd feel like crud if I didn't eat a balanced diet.

Have you tried any of the advice given to you in your other thread?

I agree with the previous posters. a) eat more b) more variety (beans, nuts, milks [any kind], dairy and eggs [if you aren't vegan], soy, seeds).

It had nothing to do with the chicken and everything to do with the bad choices you are making as a vegetarian. choose better foods and you won't feel sick.

For me anyways, soup makes me feel good. Would the same thing happen if it was corn chowder?

The other posters are correct...you don't have a balanced diet, which is causing your symptoms. In situations like that, the body goes into "starvation mode" causing you to crave animal foods, one of the richest sources of calories. Try adding more veggies, fruits, and plant-based protien to your diet and you should be fine. If it doesn't go away, see a doctor pronto.
