right, so before i was born , she would tie my sister to trees at night!!!and lock her outside.
so she was never around,and i really eally hate her:grr: :notvegan: , and then she went offf to hawii and never came back, she stol money form hte family , she is mean and carzy,

and now she is trying to go to cort to get us to soend time with her in hawii, after like 2 yeas of be'n there .

and if you'd like to go to hawaii and see her, then do so, if you wouldn't, when you're in court just say that she used to tie your sister to trees at night and lock her out of the house, and that you don't want to be around her. they can't MAKE you if you tell them that she's crazy .... and they also might get some treatment for her too

Talk to a social worker or a school conselor. Be clear about why you don't want to visit your mother. Don't exaggerate, and if you can, have your sister back you up.

So you live with your step-mom?
And yes, what other people said, you are old enough that your opinion counts with the judge. You can ask to have a court appointed advocate, I am guessing.

I'm a school social work intern, and we have some lunch groups that discuss different families. In them, we have the little kids (6-11 yrs old) discuss the difference between biological parents and step parents. You can only have on biological mom, and one biological dad. If your mom or dad marries someone else, it would be your step mom or your step dad. They can all explain who lives with them and where there other bits of families live. It would be illegal for your father to have two wives at the same time. That's called polygamy. So if your biological father was first married to your biological mother, then divorced her and married the woman you now refer to as Mom, then that is your step mother. That doesn't mean that you love each other any less than if you were blood related, its just a different word.

I would second that talking with a school social worker or counselor should be helpful in working out your problems.

Some of you guys are being judgmental based on her typing ablilities. I know for a FACT that crazy parents DO EXIST and do INSANE things. Not mine, but I have heard many true horror stories.

Don't go back to your mom. She sounds insane. Live your own life and take care of your sister and I wouldn't do anything with your mom except maybe try to get her help. I would suggest you also get counseling. :hug:
