Just curious, I'm sure there are a few here. I joined the other day. You may see me, I'm the one posting the typical newbie questions. :dunce: It's an awesome group though, very supportive and knowledgeable!

In another week or two. Right now I'm alternating walking 90 seconds and jogging 30 seconds for a half hour.

hmm.

I should do this. :-/

You should, kpickell, if you're interested in getting further into shape. It's an excellent program. At the start I couldn't jog even 50 meters continuously, and after 15 weeks, I could run 5km. (it's actually a 9 week program, but it's really flexible, you can repeat weeks, etc.)

I'm just hoping to be able to run a 5k by spring.

Hmm. Yes, maybe I will try this.

My dogs could benefit from this too, as they get frustrated by my slow pace. I get winded easily (badly out of shape). But also have trouble with my feet so I don't know how well I'll do. :-/

That looks pretty cool. :) My knee is in such better shape than it was a year or so ago that I've been thinking about making running a regular thing again. I just need to get some new shoes before I start up -- no reason to tempt fate.

I post there. As banananutmuffin. You can find me mostly in the carbo canteen, but sometimes in newbie section.
