I love dressing up my dogs, and this is going to be our second Halloween together (except Khanti), so of course they need costumes. Last year only Little Man dressed up. I couldn't find costumes big enough for my labs. Little Man doesn't fit in his costume from last year, and Khanti is already too big for it too. (Just a cute little shirt that says "cat hater" and a cap and pins that read the same thing lol) I have been looking around on Ebay, and they have quite a few pet costumes on there. I am going to dress Little Man and Khanti up as convicts, then Shadow and Wings can be cops.

Anyone else like to dress their pets up in clothing? Little Man is used to it because of his demodex, but the other three haven't really worn a lot of clothes. Hopefully I don't make or buy these costumes to have them chewed up, lol! I can probably find cop accessories at Party City, or Wal-Mart and then make the little cop vests. I saw the convict costume on Ebay, and it just screamed "Little Man". He looks like a tough little criminal with his missing leg and his pit bull muscles and Khanti looks like a little wimp that would go along with Little Man's evil plans. The other thought on costumes that I had was to dress Wings and Shadow up as an angel and a demon, but then I wouldn't know what to do with the other two.

Clearly I like Halloween or talking about my dogs too much....

Doggy Halloween costumes are great!!

Here's my boy (well, my ex's boy... but he's still 'mine' too) dressed up as Darth Poochie :)

I don't think my cats would appreciate being dressed up in silly costumes somehow.

I'd like to dress my cat, Shrooms up and a pimp. Maybe dress shortie up as a cowboy..oh and dress Chewy up as Robin Hood.

Unfortunately I think they'd all shred me to pieces if I even tried. LoL.

hmmm, I've been thinking about costumes for the dogs, but haven't decided on anything yet.

I think Skip would like to be a cross-dressed bitch.

My nephew is going as McDonald's French Fries, so maybe Mikey can be the Hamburglar or something.

But Starbucks is probably the only one who will tolerate a costume long enough to walk through neighborhoods.

I don't get the whole dressing up for Halloween thing. The furthest we get in the UK is putting a sheet over our heads as kids!

I can just imagine my cats' reactions if I tried to dress them up!

I don't think my three would go for it either. :)

I've decided that my dog is going to do something very daring for Halloween. He's going to dress up like a dog!

Yeah - He's a Boston Terrier, but I think he's going to go as a German Shepherd this year.

I can't see the website :(

Audrey would never tolerate being dressed up (and she's a weimaraner! they're supposed to be dressed in funny clothes and photographed!) and Brutus wouldn't either.

but Zen will tolerate just about anything... and Tao probably would too, if we got something on him securely enough. and Caruso might...

hmm. evil plots brewing. I can dress Caruso in doll clothes. I bet he'll love that

My dragon lets me put her leash on her for walks no problem. I know I'm not going to parade her around for Halloween, as its kinda cold, but I think it would be cute to hot glue plush dragon wings to her halter beforehand and then have her on my shoulder for trick or treaters. She's very well behaved :)

hahah! That is the funniest thing I have seen in awhile.

Everyone's pictures of their pets dressed up are really adorable. Hopefully mine will hold still long enough for a few pictures.

This year, I'm thinking of getting/trying to make a bumblebee costume for Spooky.

This was my dog's costume two years ago, unfortunately he removed it immediately following the picture. This year we have a little pumpkin hat to add to the outfit, we'll see how long that lasts. I don't have anything for my cat.....yet.

my puppys going trick or treating with me! She'll probably wear her shirt with bandanna that says sexy or I might buy a new pirate costume. http://community.webshots.com/photo/435804144/435804144gyeBSX

Wow. I would never dress up my pets. They'd hate it and be uncomfortable. I find trying to make animals take on human traits is just weird.

Lighten up. It's cute and silly and they only stay in the costumes long enough to take a picture. And some pets absolutely love it.

I dont lighten up about these things. I wouldnt stuff a kid that didnt want to into a suit, i wont do it to a pet. Its a "look at me!!!!" attitude. I doubt many pets like it, although arguably a few do.
