In which forum should I put a discussion of this subject? It isn't just our families and friends that we have to interact with -- it is the whole world. I couldn't find the right forum tho; this is the closest forum I could find, for discussing this topic. Like say, for example, you need to be in the hospital for a few day; how do you arrange to get vegan meals at that time. Or you get arrested. Is there anything you can do to get vegan meals? Or simply travelling far from home?

Here (http://ourhernias.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=109&highlight=vegan)is a discussion of how I planned, and things worked out, when I was
hospitalized for a week.

But there is plenty more to dicsuss -- separate topics. What about getting your children fed properly at school? Can you send them to sleepaway camp -- is there a vegan sleep-away camp anywhere????

Backpacking? Cross country car trips? Cruises? At work? Working in the field for days or weeks or months -- anthropologists for example.

There is the topic of materials used in surgery, (http://ourhernias.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=1864#1864) too.
