When is the last time any of you guys ate meat?

5 or 6 years or so. i don't remember exactly.

deliberately, about eight years ago. i encountered unexpected stray meat a couple of times not long after that.

Deliberately, about 16 or 17 years ago. Once or twice since then I have accidently taken a bit out of something meaty I thought was vegetarian.

Almost a year-and-a-half ago as I was pawing my way toward vegetarianism.

Nearly 10 years for me. I went veggie in November 1995.

Cow and pig was nine years ago.

Last night.

I was at a Chinese/Japanese restaurant, and ordered a dish of broccoli, green beans, and snow pea pods with a vegetable roll on the side... only the veg roll tasted funny. I examined it closely under the light and there were little red bits of something (pork? lobster?)

I mentioned it to the staff, but it hadn't been intentional on their part so I didn't make a huge scene. (I didn't leave a tip, though... I'm not sure whether that was right of me.) There was no point in wasting the food, so I finished it, but I'm getting leery about eating out these days. Fortunately for both them and me, I don't have any food allergies.

A little over 2 years ago intentenially, though a few months back I accidently ate a bite of clam dip! :spew: Most disgusting thing ever.
