It's great that she donating to turtle helping causes but how many times does that turtle have to run through paint?
Hes a cute turtle though.

I looked in the FAQ, and she does give a warning not to do this with other turtles, and explains that it's safe for Koopa, and why it's safe. Maybe Koopa enjoys it? I still think it's a little odd, but if it's truly safe and Koopa truly likes it... it's hard to know that, though.

I just wonder if he has to be constantly turned around to run back through the paint. It must be very irritating.

That's a good question. Maybe you could email her?
It looks like he plays around on the canvas, but it's hard to tell.

must say it is stunning...

That's really beautiful! I think as long as he's being taken care of, and the paint isn't harmful to him, and he gets to rest, that what he does is great.

It looks fine to me. It'd be better if was done all for charity instead of 20% charity and the rest to the owner (for expenses and pocketed profit). This seems more like a money-making gimmick for the artist.
But our animal shelter does a similar thing with their dogs and cats, having them walk in finger paint and then walk around a canvas, and the resulting artworks are auctioned off at our annual fundraiser. Although our animals only due one painting a year, whereas the turtle appears to be doing hundreds.
