I have worn the "Arizona" style leather Birkenstocks for years - those and Docs are the only shoes that "work" with my bone spurs, arch problems, etc., etc.,
When I tried to find "vegan" Birkenstocks in traditional styles, I was told they're not available in the US, most stores simply told me they didn't make them any more, or tried to sell me the rubber and plastic "Birki" type that wasn't what I needed/liked.
But I found a site online, it's in the UK but will ship to the US - got my shoes today and they're JUST like my old leather ones, with a microfiber sole instead of the suede.... I am beyond excited. Comfortable shoes are a huge deal for me... :nana: :nana:

Anyway, if you're a former Birkenstock fan or just want another choice in vegan shoes, I thought I'd post the link and report that this company has excellent service.
