So I've just started to take VegLife sublingual B12 tablets. They're 1000mcg, which is over 16,000% of the RDA. Is it ok to take 1/2 a tablet a day, or do I really need that high a percentage a day? It would definitely help me save money to take a half tablet a day...

You can even take one tablet once or twice per week, if you prefer. A little bit goes a long way with B12. You don't need to load up on that much daily, unless you have been diagnosed B12 deficient and are trying to get your stores back up. Keep in mind too, that taking more than the RDA of B12 is not harmful. B12 is water soluble, and your body only absorbs a percentage of what you take in supplement form.
