I saw an ad for Gypsy Tea in the lasest VegNews issue and decided to take a look at the company's site. I decided to one of their tins of tea and the travel cup after seeing a lot of good things on the site. I got the Fireside Chai tea.

My package arrived today and I ordered it on Tuesday early morning. Inside the package was both the tin of tea and the cup with a nice tissue paper of navy blue with gold stars and moons.

I heated some warmer and test both the tea and the cup. The tea is wonderful. It smells and tastes great. The tea bags don't sink to the bottom of the cup. The cup has beautiful artwork and does keep the tea warm without the outside of the cup too hot to be held.

yes it does. Actually all of the tea sounds good to me. I'm a tea drinker so I like just about all teas.

I like Gypsy tea because they have some really different teas that a lot of companies don't have. I bought White Cantaloupe and Red Lavender from a store here. They are both great. I tried ordering more from the website, though, and something went wrong, because they never sent me my order. I got the confirmation and everything, I don't know what happened. But anyway, now that I have positive feedback from the actual site also, I'll try to order the ones I wanted to get a while back.

Beware of the Lemon Jasmine Green. It may sound wonderful but I found it too light-bodied and it always brewed bitter. I did like that it was organic/fair-trade. I finished it up but I had to "cut" it's bitterness by making a 16oz glass of hot tea with another green tea brand bag (Alvita-which is great stuff or the new Snapple "Mangoooooo" green tea bags-which are delicious!).

Also beware of the Morning blend tea (or something named like that--in an orange tin). That stuff made me very ill and I wound up throwing it out.
