I am currently madly, head over heels in love with Organic Raisin bran by Traders Joe
(fantabulous would be an understatement) :lick:
But if you don't mind conventional or organic, a lot of cereals are vegan, from corn flakes to coco puffs.
Just need to read the label

It looks vegan ...

If you want to be 100% sure, send a polite e-mail to the company. Most are good at responding.

Happy Bunny!! :hamster: :hamster: How funny - I just got some of their Organc Raisin Bran cereal last week and was thinking I finished off the box really FAST - it IS good stuff!
Are you still in my area? Just wondering if you shop at the TJ's in University Place, I just discovered them and LOVE the new store!
The Organic TJ's brand of Raisin granola (can't remember if it has another name too) is good. Doesn't have honey in it either, as so many granolas do... I pretty much get all my cereal there.

I dont like raisins, they look like dead flies! :spew:
I dont like raisins, they look like dead flies!
Way off topic, but when my cousin was being weaned off the bottle her mom stuck raisins in the empty bottles and said there were dead bugs in them.
I think PETA's site has a list of vegan foods, cereals included. I'm not vegan, but the only cereals I'll eat are Raisin Bran and Rice Krispies (usually store brands).

I love the Nature's Path cereals. I haven't checked out all of them, but the ones I have seen (which are numerous) have all been vegan. Great flavored oatmeals, too.

I just went to the new Whole Foods by my school and I was in cereal heaven. So many cereals, not enough money. :D Whole Foods is crazy cheap though! I wish I lived near one at home.

I like Back to Nature Hi-Protein Crunch with 12 grams of protein per serving (1/2cup). Yummy and as crunchy as they get!

I have to agree with 'Nature's Path' cereals being yummy:)
Though I've only tried two flavours (Millet rice and oat flakes?..and optimum zen)...and back at home I can't get that brand:(
But over here we do have jordan's(?) granola...which is good too.

I'm a BIG fan of the Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs. Even if I don't have them for breakfast, I bring a little baggie of them for snack in between classes. Ohhh the goodness....

I love those yummy grainy nutritious organic fancy cereals as much as the next veg but they are expensive!! At least the ones I come across. I refuse to pay up to $4 for a tiny box of cereal no matter how healthful it is!
I'm cheap that way, lol. :)

For those in Australia
Freedom Foods wheat free yeast free wholegrain muesli is the best (vegan friendly)
Also there is no fruit in it which suits me as I am not a raisin fan till after noon...

peace cereal is mostly organic and (i think) always vegan. it says on the box whether or not it's vegan though, which is nice. 10% profits go towards peace, whatever that means... but all the same, it's nice to see a company that can sell a good product at a nice price.
