I know this is a way of life for them but I don't think they need to do this to survive.

Wow, I was just reading this and was going to post something about it. I think it's "funny" how they say they're turning them off because they don't want people to see how they are killed, so that people won't be turned away from the tradition. I think all people should see how animals are killed...maybe they'll think twice about eating them or hunting purely for pleasure.
