Somehow I always knew I would end up here. I love the values this country is based on. UK is great too, but too close to 'Old Europe'. I'm afraid I don't know much about Australia.

You must have met many Americans to not be able to stand most of them.

All Americans I know I only know online. I wouldn't mind meeting some who are in this country (I wonder where they hang out.... maybe I'll hang around tourist spots). I'm always on the alert for an accent.

There was a lady at the store the other day with an accent... but I wasn't sure whether her accent was US or Canada (sorry, North Americans!). Not that I wouldn't want to talk to a Canadian..... it's just I didn't feel like making a fool of myself.

But I've never meet an American Veg*n before, so that sort of balances it out a little.

spud my accent is really funny. i come from one of the accent kingdoms on the world. what's funny is that americans like it - they generally like accents (made the same experience in UK too). in europe if you have an accent, you suck. for most of my life i spoke foreign languages with my accent.

I believe in Snuggles' conspiracy. I think conspiracies happen but I am not a conspiracy theorist. The American people are largely unaware of the actions of their govt.
