i have a cat named cleo who i adopted as a stray, itty-bitty, kitten. for some reason, she only likes me - and hates all other persons (incl. my boyfriend who found her) and animals - which includes my sister's cat that loves to bother her. even though she is rather anti-social, she loves to have long conversations with me - i've never seen a cat talk so much!

I have one cat that I took from my ex-roommate. My roommate called him **** face but I renamed him Kitty.

And currently I have 3 foster dogs. Tuesday (Akita/Shephard mix, 4yo), Mikey (Akita/Lab mix 9mo), and Licorice (a 7yo cairn terrier who I call "Dog" because I don't like the name Licorice).

I have a dog, Margaret, who's a Norwich terrier, and two grey tabbies--Michael and Maria. I had another dog, Lila, till a couple of weeks ago, but she died. She was big, grey, and fuzzy--she looked like a miniature (only 70 pounds) Irish wolfhound. We got all our animals other than Michael as grown women with mysterious pasts, so we don't know any of their ages besides Michael's--he's 9.

Aside from Friday, there's Arizona (my sister named her not me), a budgie who thinks she's a sparrow. and three mice, Oreo, Gingerale/Mikie, Steve. A box turtle, i call him Bob, my sisters call him Tiger cuz he has stripes on his shell  .
And a bunch of fish. I think thats all.

1 friendly tabby named Bandit. His mother showed up on our doorstep 15 years ago, and after she gave birth we ended up keeping him.

1 cherry barb in a 30 gallon tank. All the other fish have long since passed on the big aquarium in the sky, but this little survivor has lasted over 4 years. I assume he likes the space.

I have a sweet and boisterous kitty named Nibbles. She is an all black, domestic short hair. I adopted her from the Humane Society last year. She absolutely adores me to the point that if I am at home, she wants to be where I am - including the in the bathroom or shower. She is also quite a talker and always has something to say. She is overweight and quite food obsessed, but we are working on that.

All the former vegwebbers know what I have, at least most do...

but for those that don't....

I have two rescued greyhounds, a girl, 4, and a boy, almost 3, actually tomorrow's his birthday! :D

My boy, Victor, is my avatar. I'll change it periodically, between my boy and my girl, Roo.

I had a poodle mix that was 17, but sadly she passed this past weekend. JoJo and I miss her.

sorry for your loss :(

i have an all black fatso kitty named Moo (yes, Moo, don't ask)
he's spoiled and highly obnoxious. no pic of him yet cause the one i have scanned is too big to post and it's not a great pic anyway.

and my mom's furballs are in the gallery here, Duke the wiener and Zoe the uhh massive ball of flab. :D
i haven't actually met either of them yet, she got them both after christmas and i haven't been up to visit yet since then. both are adults that were in need of new homes, and she'd just had our old cat put down and was lonely i guess and gave in. (despite her policy of no more animals in the house ever again)

My heart hurts for your loss VeggieAnn. My beloved cat Merlin passed away a couple months ago and it just isn't the same without him.

Okay, I just spent forever typing up descriptions for each of my twelve monsters, but my computer shut itself down before I could post it, so I'm keeping this simple.
Gavin: Wolf
Dixie: Chow/German Shepherd
Brianne: Pitt Bull/Akita/German Shepherd
Ashley: German Shepherd/Coyote

Cats:
Alex, Cody, Nermal, Heather, Johnny, Patrick, Matteo and Sarah.
All of my cats are spayed or neutered. If yours are not, please do it now. Don't make me sic Bob Barker on you!
You can see the magnificence that is them at http://www.angelfire.com/journal/sword2sky/pets.html

I think arealski has more critters than me.

I also feed the neighborhood squirrels and birds. I go out front sometimes and talk to the lizards. There are small spiders in my house that I leave be so long as they leave me be. If they come down too low or make too many webs or are huge, I catch them and take them outside. Now with spring, there are several frogs and such out and about. I try to keep them from getting stepped on or run over.

I have a 6 year old cat named Cyber (or she has me - which is more like the actual situation).

Unfortunately she is a tuna eater. I've tried everything - nothing else works. I just have learned to live with it.

I think this might link to her photo:

I have two beautiful little guinea pigs, named Buster and Flurry. Both males, both rescues. And I have a naughty little kitty named Tuffy, that I adopted in September. Their pictures are in the gallery.

Right now, I am taking care of my in-laws dog, Punky. We've had him here since November-ish. But they are taking him back next week! :( I don't want him to go!

Maybe I'll pretend he died, and hide him here! ;)

I have a 6 year old rescue akita. He is definately the king of the house. He recently underwent surgery for a large cancerous mass in his left thigh. He is doing very well and the vet is confident she was able to get it all.

Would you like a wolf? I've seen some in need of adoption at http://www.petfinder.com/ before.
I have a picture of Gavin in the photo album here.

oooh mastiffs

you all have the coolest pets.

i would LOVE a wolf, but i could never get one. i've decided against getting a dog any time soon since we tend to not be home a lot. maybe sometime in the future when things have settled down, who knows.
our goal for the immediate future though is to get 2 ferrets, rescued of course. we can't afford to yet, but hope to soon

Erin, your Alex looks like my Mischief. I don't have him any longer, though. We had to have him put to sleep due to complications from diabetes. He was a wonderful friend.

I really thought I had responded to this thread. Hmm.....

I have two short hair tabbys, both black and white. Both rescued and adopted to be my kids. Minnie is a two year old female, she and her two brothers were dropped off at a shelter. She was too young to be away from her mother. I still remember how small she was (could fit in my palm). Her eyes were still too big for her body. What a cutie.

Max is almost a year old. He was found in the woods with his sister. He had some trauma to his tail. It's too cute, other than puffing up (defense mechanism) he doesn't swing his tail like Minnie. His tail has a little stub at the end.. He's a handful. Pictures of them are in the gallery. (shameless plug)

I have 1 yellow lab named Mojo.
1 Chihuahua named Mighty Mouse
8 fish but only a few of them have names, one is one of those big fancy bubblehead gold fish and I named her lady because she looks like one. she has perfect thin lipstick markings on her mouth.
I had a Beta fish named alpha but he died so I got a new one and named it angel cause it swims like one.
And I have this realy cool fish that lKinda Looks like a shark and he sucks on to things and I named him Darwin.
I have 1 cat and his name is Mossimo, I found him when he was a kitten all alone hiding in my garage behind my surf board.
And theres a bunch of ducks and a squirrel that live in my yard so I buy them food and take care of them but they are wild.
Hopefully I'll be getting another dog soon. My husband says we dont have the room for another dog. Untill then my sister in-law and my brother have plenty of dogs I can play with too.
